  The Exam
 
  • Who?:  Optometry applicants desiring a Massachusetts license. Applicants who wish to obtain a licensure to practice Optometry in Massachusetts must have passed all parts of the National Board Examination within the past five years in order to be eligible to sit for the the Massachusetts examination.

  • What?: Exam consisting of an interview, law test, and practical/clinical exam. We at optometryjurisprudenceprep.com have summarized, edited, and developed an online tutorial review with questions to assist you in passing the law or jurisprudence examination specific to Massachusetts.

  • When?: Candidates have 90 days from the issuance of their authorization letter to take the examination.

  • Where?: You will receive notification of the location of examinations after your application has been received and reviewed.

  • Why?: The Massachusetts Board of Optometry administers and enforces the provisions of Massachusetts Optometry Law to ensure the highest quality of eye care is provided to the citizens of Massachusetts.
